We are so happy we found Lakshmi’s daycare/preschool for our daughter. The moment I met her and saw the school environment, I knew my daughter would be safe with her. Safety is always a parents highest concern. The school offers safe, clean, nurturing, home like, kind and flexible environment for kids. Lakshmi is fully in charge of her class and the kids love and respect her. She takes a lot of efforts in planning and conducting daily kids’ activities. Photos and videos are shared with all parents on a daily basis, which makes you feel connected with your child through the day. She provides healthy home made food and snacks and makes note of kids with food allergies so she can accommodate them. She is always available to talk with parents or give feedback as required. Lakshmi is considerate, understanding and a solid teacher.
The classroom environment is setup to allow the children to try different activities where their interests lies for ex. table work, books, dress-up, building toys, outdoor activities etc. The environment helps kids develop appropriate skills according to their interest. The subordinate teachers are kind and patient with all children. Kids are happy and joyful and interact a lot with each other through different activities. My child goes to her daycare happy and clean and comes back home the same way, which is a huge blessing. The school respects that most families have two working parents and seems to offer a schedule reflecting that, which is a big plus for working families. At the same time,the school is professional and expects parents to adhere to its policies.
My daughter has been with Lakshmi for two years since we moved to the bay area. Overall I would give her and the daycare/preschool a five star rating. This preschool earns my highest recommendation.
